Synthesis of Cu<sub>2</sub>O-decorated WO<sub>3</sub> by Solution Plasma Process

A photocatalyst absorbs light and promotes a chemical reaction. Photocatalysis has received much attention in recent years because of its pollutant degrading properties, which offer important economic benefits. Although titanium dioxide is the most used photocatalyst, it difficult to use indoors illumination by ultraviolet rays produces photocatalytic functions. One method using visiblelight-responsive photocatalysts. Cuprous oxide-decorated tungsten trioxide, candidate material, been studied extensively identified as highly material under visible light. This paper presents new decorating cuprous oxide solution plasma. Using plasma process, trioxide was synthesized 10 min. Then decomposed 85% organic substances 4 hr irradiation. catalyst showed superior performance that commercial irradiation same wavelength.
